The plenary sessions
The plenary sessions are public meetings of the Parliament; in theory, a session takes place every other week.
The plenary session is, so to speak, the heart of every democratic activity:
- It is where all the decisions are taken;
- All the elected deputies take part in the decisions taken by vote;
- In theory, all the decisions are taken at the plenary session (apart from the decisions related to the staff).
The typical subjects dealt with at the plenary session are:
- Current questions directed at the government;
- The adoption of decrees;
- The interpellations (set of asked questions debated by the assembly).
